Role Description

As a Junior Java Developer, you will support our development team in implementing and further developing modern Java applications. Your daily tasks include writing clean and maintainable code, developing microservices, and working with modern technologies such as the Spring Framework. This full-time position is hybrid and offers a combination of on-site work in Vienna, Austria, and the possibility to work from home.

Qualifications

Software Development: Experience in software development and solid knowledge of Java programming.
Microservices: Familiarity with the design and implementation of microservice-based architectures.
Frameworks: Knowledge of the Spring Boot framework; experience with frontend technologies such as Angular or React is an advantage.

Additional desirable skills include problem-solving abilities, a strong team spirit, and a keen interest in further developing and applying new technologies. A completed degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable field is an advantage.

Compensation

The collective agreement minimum salary for this position is €1,650 gross per month based on 20 hours per week. Overpayment is explicitly possible depending on qualifications and experience.
